Drawing Experiment III is over - the drawing part begins

The following is what Drawing Experiment III looked like:

This experiment will be open, starting now, for FOUR DAYS (ending on 10/15/10 at 11:59 pm EST). I'm taking orders for a standard frame-sized 8" x 10" custom watercolor drawing on Fabriano 140 lb. 100% cotton pH neutral paper with archival watercolors. This size more than THREE times the size of Drawing Experiment II (with an image area will cover a minimum 6" x 5"). Please choose items listed below for me to consider while I carefully craft an original drawing for you. Once you complete and submit this form, a link to pay via secure Google Checkout (or PayPal for U.S. addresses) will appear. After your payment is complete, you should have the drawing in two weeks or less. The cost is $125 with free USPS Priority Mail shipping within the U.S. (International orders are welcome, though there is an additional $13 shipping fee - available only with Google Checkout). If you have a question that isn't addressed in these FAQ's, please contact me. Some drawings from the previous experiment can be seen here. But please note - your drawings will be larger (for the same price).

ALDRICH UNDERCOVER donation

This drawing is for the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum's 2010 ALDRICH UNDERCOVER event for Friday, Nov. 19, 2010. It's a "secret art sale" (though not super duper secret if you're reading this post) at the Ridgefield, CT museum by artists who have shown in exhibitions there in the past. We are all asked for a drawing for the sale. I wish I could attend.

5th Birthday Treasure Hunt

For Fritz's 5th birthday party, I handed out empty goodie bags and a treasure map. The kids then followed the map to find four buried treasures in the park which filled their bags. I had a bunch of 19th century deeds from London (several "pages" each) made of real vellum (sheepskin) that I drew it on. It has this nice crinkliness when rolled and unrolled.
